Les familles comptent sur eux pour obtenir des informations claires. Le personnel s'attend \u00e0 ce qu'ils refl\u00e8tent son travail. La communaut\u00e9 au sens large les consid\u00e8re comme la vitrine num\u00e9rique de l'\u00e9tablissement. Et pourtant, de nombreux sites scolaires semblent rest\u00e9s fig\u00e9s dans le pass\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Le fardeau num\u00e9rique quotidien<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En coulisses, ce n\u2019est pas de la paresse, mais une question de logistique. Les sites web des \u00e9tablissements scolaires n\u00e9cessitent une maintenance constante en coulisses, dont une grande partie passe inaper\u00e7ue :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Changements au sein du personnel<\/strong> Ces changements se produisent tout au long de l'ann\u00e9e : nouvelles embauches, d\u00e9missions, remaniements au sein des services. La mise \u00e0 jour des intitul\u00e9s de poste, des coordonn\u00e9es et des annuaires du personnel prend beaucoup de temps et est souvent retard\u00e9e.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Photos et biographies<\/strong> devenir obsol\u00e8tes. Un nouveau conseiller peut prendre ses fonctions en ao\u00fbt, mais n'appara\u00eetre sur le site qu'en octobre.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Prix, distinctions et c\u00e9l\u00e9brations<\/strong> restent dans l'ombre \u2014 non pas par manque de fiert\u00e9, mais par manque de temps et de m\u00e9thode.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sports, associations \u00e9tudiantes, programmes d'accompagnement et initiatives d'enrichissement<\/strong> changent constamment, et leurs pages web ne suivent souvent pas le rythme.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Et tout cela vient s'ajouter \u00e0 une s\u00e9rie de difficult\u00e9s plus visibles :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Calendriers incompatibles<\/strong> pour des \u00e9v\u00e9nements, des jeux, des r\u00e9unions et des spectacles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Publication diff\u00e9r\u00e9e<\/strong> des documents relatifs au Conseil d'\u00e9tablissement (SSC) et au Comit\u00e9 consultatif pour les apprenants d'anglais (ELAC), qui sont souvent exig\u00e9s par la loi.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Documents relatifs au LCAP et au LCFF<\/strong> \u00eatre enterr\u00e9<strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Messages d'urgence<\/strong> retard\u00e9es ou manquantes alors que la rapidit\u00e9 est essentielle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Silos d'informations<\/strong> entre les \u00e9tablissements et les d\u00e9partements, sans coordination centrale.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Pourquoi on passe \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La plupart des sites web des \u00e9tablissements scolaires ne sont pas g\u00e9r\u00e9s par une \u00e9quipe de communication : ils sont mis en place tant bien que mal par des employ\u00e9s administratifs bien intentionn\u00e9s, des responsables surcharg\u00e9s ou des enseignants b\u00e9n\u00e9voles qui \u201c savent plus ou moins comment publier du contenu \u201d. Lorsque ces personnes quittent leur poste ou changent de fonction, la continuit\u00e9 s\u2019en trouve rompue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il n\u2019existe pas de processus d\u2019int\u00e9gration pour les contenus num\u00e9riques. Il n\u2019y a pas non plus de calendrier de publication centralis\u00e9. Souvent, il n\u2019y a pas d\u2019acc\u00e8s aux visuels partag\u00e9s ni aux outils de communication de l\u2019acad\u00e9mie. Les entra\u00eeneurs ne savent pas toujours o\u00f9 communiquer les r\u00e9sultats des matchs. Le secr\u00e9tariat d\u2019une \u00e9cole peut se demander s\u2019il doit envoyer les mises \u00e0 jour au bureau de l\u2019acad\u00e9mie, les publier sur le site web ou les transmettre \u00e0 ParentSquare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>En parlant de ParentSquare\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De plus en plus de districts utilisent des outils de communication tiers : ParentSquare, Finalsite, Aeries, PowerSchool, Remind, ClassDojo, entre autres. Chacun a sa raison d'\u00eatre. Mais lorsque cinq ou six syst\u00e8mes se disputent la place sur la page d'accueil, cela peut entra\u00eener un encombrement et une certaine confusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les parents ne savent pas o\u00f9 chercher. Le personnel ne sait pas quel service est comp\u00e9tent. Les mises \u00e0 jour importantes sont noy\u00e9es sous les fen\u00eatres contextuelles, les widgets et les liens. L'identit\u00e9 visuelle dispara\u00eet. La voix du district se perd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Un point de basculement<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Au bout du compte, toutes les communes en arrivent \u00e0 la m\u00eame conclusion : cette situation n'est pas viable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le prix \u00e0 payer ne se r\u00e9sume pas \u00e0 de la confusion ou \u00e0 un \u00e9v\u00e9nement manqu\u00e9, c'est la confiance qui est en jeu. Les familles cessent d'utiliser le site web. Les enseignants cessent d'envoyer des informations.
