Fair Path Project Recommends Healing Doublespeak for Rebuilding Integrity in Workplaces and Civic Life
Madera, CA & Washington, DC — September 30, 2025 — Fair Path Project, founded by HR executive and workplace advocate Kim Williams, has named Healing Doublespeak: Chiral Distortion & the Recursive Arc by Frédéric and Renée Martin to its inaugural Recommended Reading for Civic Clarity list. The initiative highlights resources that help employees, leaders, and communities confront toxic systems and restore dignity.
Fair Path Project fights workplace bullying, retaliation, and gaslighting while promoting organizations built on respect, accountability, and psychological safety. It provides employees with tools to defend their rights and recover confidence, and it guides employers toward healthier, value-driven workplaces.
“Language is often the first tool of manipulation, whether in the workplace or civic life,” said Kim Williams, founder of Fair Path Project. “That is why we are recommending Healing Doublespeak, a resource that exposes how words are twisted against people and why clarity is essential to restoring both dignity and accountability — in the workplace and beyond.”
Healing Doublespeak explores how core words—freedom, justice, truth—are inverted through doublespeak, and how restoring their meaning strengthens both social fabric and organizational culture.
“Language is the connective tissue of our civic life,” said co-author Renée Martin. “When words are distorted, harms echo across both workplaces and communities. We are honored our book is included in Fair Path Project’s list.”
As of September 27, 2025 (PT), within 12 days of its release, Healing Doublespeak ranked #26 on Amazon’s Hot New Releases in Civics & Citizenship. Overnight, by 6:30 a.m. PT this morning, its rank had climbed to #13 in the same category. The book is available through independent booksellers, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and IngramSpark.
